Born in Ireland in 1979, Nathan Neven’s childhood passions were drawing and painting everything in his environment. With a strong desire to realize his dream of becoming an artist full-time, Nathan moved to Paris and attended art courses to gain experience and refine his skills. His paintings capture different moments of his dream, living in Europe, and his travel experiences. Nathan is inspired by everything that touches his soul — the joy and beauty of life itself, the beauty of nature, and his surroundings. His influences include a diverse group of realist and abstract artists. In his latest series of paintings, “Wildlife Invited,” classical interior spaces are unexpectedly inhabited by an assortment of wild animals.
ARTIST STATEMENT
"I believe in the power of art. For me, each piece of art has a soul and possesses the ability to affect people’s lives. Every day I feel blessed to be able to create my art. My style has centered upon color relationship, the presence of light, and a sense of energy."
