After an extended career in television and movie production, as well as set design, Andrew Trentacosta developed the acrylic plastic / acrylic paint kinetic abstract sculpture known as Rainbow Poles.
An assortment of individual abstract paintings are viewed through diffusion created by solid plastic cylinders. The subsequent visuals present exciting bursts of color that change as the viewer moves across the spectrum.
Each signed, painted pole is unique and contemporary, utilizing modern materials in a colorful presentation.
Originally a Los Angeles resident, Mr. Trentacosta now resides in Rancho Mirage, CA.
