BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY
DESERT CHAPTER PRESENTS

CELEBRATION AT CODA

The Desert chapter of Brandeis University will produce its annual fundraising event entitled “Celebration at Coda” on Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 6:30-9:00 P.M. at CODA Gallery located at 73-400 El Paseo Drive, Palm Desert.

The cost of the event is $75.00 and includes food provided by Mastro’s of Palm Desert, wine tasting presented by The Organic Wine Exchange, music by Andy Cahan (a former member of The Turtles), and the leisurely enjoyment of CODA’s magnificent art collection. Complimentary valet parking will be available.

Brandeis National Committee and its local chapters support Brandeis University through philanthropy, learning and community. The Desert Chapter has elected to support the campaign for Sustaining the Mind, an innovative, scientific research effort in brain research and neurodegenerative diseases. Recently, two Brandeis professors were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for their work in Alzheimer’s, mental illness and diabetes.

Brimming with color and life, CODA Gallery, has been a landmark on El Paseo that has resonated with contemporary art collectors for more than thirty years. Awaiting discovery inside CODA’s outstanding gallery is a vast collection of paintings, photography, sculpture, and glass by a wide range of established, mid-career and emerging artists. CODA is consistently ranked one of the top art galleries in California.

Support of this event will contribute to the massive research effort by Brandeis to eventually gain control over many of the neurodegenerative challenges facing our human population.
