PALM DESERT, CA — In support of the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center in Rancho Mirage and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ Make March Matter campaign, CODA Gallery presents a special benefit art auction, March 28-31. Continuing the legacy of giving back to the community established by its founders, Connie and David Katz, CODA Gallery is honored to participate in the nonprofit organizations’ commitment to helping the region’s most vulnerable children and ensure they receive the critical and lifesaving care they need.
The following CODA Gallery artists are donating artworks to the Make March Matter Benefit Art Auction: Mark Bowles, Mark Davis, Esteban, Marty Goldstein, Brett Hammond, Siri Hollander, Kathleen Keifer, Daniel Maltzman, Father Bill Moore, Jamie Perry, Andrea Raft, Karen Shapiro, and Michael Steirnagle. The silent auction will begin with a preview reception at the gallery on March 28, 5-7 p.m., for supporters of the beneficiary organizations as well as the general public. One hundred percent of sales of the works donated by the artists for the auction will go directly to the Make March Matter fundraising campaign. Additionally, the gallery will donate a portion of all sales in the gallery during the auction to make the last few days of March really matter to the children’s center and hospital.
ABOUT THE BARBARA SINATRA CHILDREN’S CENTER: Founded in 1986 by Barbara and Frank Sinatra, the mission of the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center is to counsel physically, sexually, and emotionally abused children and to focus on prevention, community education, and breaking the cycle of generational abuse. No child is ever turned away due to a family’s inability to pay. Approximately 90 percent of the nonprofit’s budget comes from the generosity of a caring worldwide community, charitable organizations, and fundraising events.
