My interest lies in the exploration of line movement created by the flowing mass of metal, glass, and chrome of classic automobiles and motorcycles. Composition, color, and light form the structure of my paintings. I try to use all these elements to reveal themselves in the tightly cropped views I choose for my work. My compositions capture a moment of crisp, clear beauty that celebrates an automobile’s style and character.

I look for opportunities to paint challenging subjects that require a worthy investment of my emotion, time, and skill. As the painting reveals itself on the canvas, I also really like to enjoy the process. No tears. Lots of smiles.
